I love the taste of garlic in my food, and I’ve only recently started adding garlic powder to my rice. It has made what was once a bland component of most of my meals more exciting. However, I wasn’t too excited to try these garlic crisps, as the packaging features a picture of whole cloves, which doesn't make my mouth water.
The good thing about these garlic crisps is that you get a lot in a packet, unlike the shiitake mushroom crisps and crispy broccoli florets I tried previously.

I was expecting the garlic flavour to be really potent, but it wasn't too strong, especially considering they added garlic powder to the garlic cloves. And, as you would expect, they made my breath smell amazing!
I enjoyed the texture much more than the flavour, as they had just the right amount of crunch, although some were a little too hard. I'm assuming this is because the garlic cloves were left whole and required a little more cooking than thinly sliced crisps that use the same process.

Overall, these crisps are decent, as they have the right amount of garlic flavour and a nice crunch. However, I won't be having them again any time soon, as the garlicy aftertaste is a bit odd after eating crisps.
Update and warning: Several hours after demolishing the garlic clove crisps, I started farting. By the evening, I was letting one rip every five minutes, no exaggeration. When I realised the crisps were making me fart, I thought it would smell of garlic and poo, but it just smelled of garlic. When I was in bed, I farted under the covers, and when I went to take a whiff, I almost passed out. This is just a warning in case you want to give them a try, which I still recommend, as they are a unique snack.
